Hi Chris,
Thank you for your research and post. I am a direct decendant of Joseph Arthur of the 11th. Also found it so interesting that the men in this unit are from the same area of Wisconsin. We recently visited Gettysburg witch got me interested. Thanks again.
Thank you for the great research and best of luck with the book.
If I am not mistaken, Matthew T. and Thomas William Curry were brothers from Linden, WI. Thomas W. Curry, the younger brother, did not survive the war as shown by your records. Matthew T. Curry attended Beloit College in WI, and became a lawyer in Centralia, Lewis, WA. dying on 21 Jan 1905 in Orting, Pierce, Washington. He was married to Cordelia B. (unknown) and it seems they had no children. The Curry family of Linden, WI is of genealogical interest to me. Thank you for your research! It has added to the family story.
Steve very interesting, thanks for commenting I will keep your post so we can get that up dated! Thanks for commenting!
