I apologize for the long interval between posts. I have been posting on my other blog regularly (please visit there often), and I have not been posting updates on the book or info because there has not been a lot of news. But now there is!
The 11th Wisconsin in the Civil War: A Regimental History will be “most likely” be published early 2008. It has just finished layout production. It is going to be indexed and then printed. I expect a March 1, maybe late February publish date.
The book is a library bound hardcover, and therefore will not have a dust jacket with a pretty glossy design. This was at first disappointing, however the editor at McFarland explained to me that they focus on universities and colleges and print mainly academic books. This makes sense, and they assured me it would be a very solid and elegant hardcover production – high quality. So, needless to say I am happy. I hope you stay tuned.
